Girls’ Getaway Holiday Craft Making

A weekend away with friends in the Amana Colonies focused on relaxing, having fun, and learning. The first weekend of November, is Girls’ Getaway Weekend in the Amana Colonies.  So special events are planned just for you.

This year Die Heimat Country Inn is offering an evening of delicious holiday tastes paired with various wines while you and your friends create holiday ornaments. Get a jump on your holiday decorating and impress your family with your creativity. You will make up to six unique up-cycle/recycle vintage ornaments on Saturday evening, November 2 at our Next Door Event Center.

All you need to do is choose your room at Die Heimat for Friday and Saturday nights and enjoy our bountiful and tasty breakfast each morning. Explore the Amana Colonies with friends during the day. Enjoy the special touches planned for you all weekend.

To participate in the Saturday evening event from 6:30-9:00 pm, just add this note to your reservation on our website – ORNAMENTS2019. Or you can call us at 319-622-3937 to add this event only, even if you don’t stay with us.

Cost – $55/person includes a light meal/heavy appetizers, wine/non-alcoholic beverage, and all supplies and instructions for making the crafts.
